Responsibilities
Operate laser screed machines to accurately place and level concrete slabs
Read and interpret project plans, grades, elevations, and specifications
Set up, calibrate, and maintain laser screed equipment and related tools
Coordinate with concrete finishers, pump operators, and site supervisors
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Identify and report equipment issues, site hazards, or quality concerns
Assist with general concrete placement and finishing tasks as required
Qualification
Required
Experience is preferred
Able to pass a drug test
Strong understanding of concrete placement
Ability to read construction drawings and grade stakes
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Physically able to work in outdoor environments and lift heavy materials
Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, if applicable)
Preferred
Previous experience operating laser screed equipment preferred
3D Understanding is a plus
