Responsibilities

Embed with the business development team on critical issues related to partnering strategy and transaction related workstreams

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and potential opportunities in therapeutic areas of strategic interest

Support target prioritization and evaluation, including high-level screening of potential partners, technologies, or assets

Assist in due diligence, including data gathering, synthesis, and creation of briefing materials for internal stakeholders

Prepare presentations and summaries for business development discussions, internal strategy forums, and leadership reviews

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Research, Clinical, Legal, Finance) to support elements of strategic analysis and partnership assessment

Contribute to special projects that may include financial modeling, valuation support, and development of strategic recommendations

Required

Currently enrolled in a top MBA program (rising 2nd-year) with a strong academic record

Demonstrated interest in biotech, and life sciences

Prior experience in life sciences consulting, investment banking, or business development

Exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex information clearly

Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to be onsite in Watertown, Ma June - August 2026 (start/end dates are flexible)
