Responsibilities
Greet patients and manage check-in/out, phones, and inboxes
Verify insurance, discuss benefits, and handle billing & payments
Coordinate and optimize schedules; send reminders and follow-ups
Keep the front desk organized, stocked, and survey-ready
Maintain accurate patient records/forms in practice software (e.g., Open Dental)
Run daily/monthly production & collections reports; support office communications
Qualification
Required
2-3 years Dental Front Office Coordinator experience required
Lead/supervisory experience is a plus
Clear communication skills
Service mindset
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Experience with practice management systems (Open Dental preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance billing basics
Professionalism including confidentiality, accuracy, and a friendly, welcoming demeanor
