Responsibilities
Provide administrative and organizational support for Catholic Religious Education programs, including seasonal offerings such as Advent, Lent, Easter, and Vacation Bible School
Prepare and distribute monthly calendars, flyers, and program communications
Coordinate facility scheduling, classroom setup, program materials, and post-program space reset
Track and submit attendance reports and routine administrative documentation
Assist with preparation and maintenance of Sacramental records in the Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) system
Collect and organize required documentation from individuals preparing to receive Sacraments
Participate in planning meetings and support program coordination
Maintain a professional, respectful presence in a pluralistic and structured environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two years previous experience with Catholic religious education
Ability to obtain Catechist Certification through the Archdiocese for the Military Services within 90 days of hire
Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills
Comfortable preparing written materials such as emails, calendars, reports, and promotional flyers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Clear verbal and written English communication skills
Demonstrated professionalism and respect for diverse faith backgrounds
Ability to successfully complete required background checks for working with children
Preferred
Prior experience in military Catholic religious education strongly preferred
