Responsibilities
Overall oversight on storage capacity and product placement
Maintain a long-term storage capacity planning template to identify constraints if any (Units, Stock Keeping Units - SKUs, Cubic Volume etc.)
Perform slotting assignment analysis for SKUs
Monitor stock in transit and under receiving to optimize the put-away strategy
Develop and update key performance indicators (KPIs) related to stock rotation and saturation of the bins
Monitor the stock coverage in the active picking area and manage the replenishment process
Manage the housekeeping process to maintain the upkeep of the DC
Troubleshoot and resolve errors resulting from day-to-day operations
Recognize trends, present improvement ideas to the senior leadership and make recommendations for process improvements
Develop annual plan for improvement initiatives and execute slotting projects as per project plans
Build and leverage relationships with functional leaders and collaborate with internal business partners to deliver optimal capacity solutions
Create appropriate presentation material for various business reviews, including KPI reviews
Serve as the main point of contact and liaison between operations, planning and forecasting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems)
3+ years' experience in Logistics/Supply Chain/Industrial Engineering or similar environment
Able to gather, manipulate, & interpret data from different sources, solve problems, & establish priorities
Strong verbal & written communication skills, in addition to strong presentation ability
Project management and communication skills (verbal, written)
Proven ability to identify and resolve problems
Well organized, self-motivated, ability to adhere to deadlines & multi-task
Strong analytical & mathematical skills - able to extract conclusions from available data
Highly organized and process oriented with an ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
Expert in advanced analytics (example: Access, VBA, Power Query, Alteryx, coding macros)
