The intern will contribute to key projects within the Clinical Immunology team, focusing on improving consistency and supporting immunological research while gaining hands-on experience with laboratory techniques and data analysis.

Responsibilities
Learn about adeno-associated virus (AAV) gene therapy and understand the role of Clinical Immunology in the AAV pipeline
Partner with analysts and scientists in the Clinical Immunology group to gain hands-on experience in immunological assays and data interpretation
Observe and evaluate clinical program results, including immune response data related to AAV therapies
Participate in laboratory activities, including MSD assays, and attend Clinical Immunology team meetings to understand workflows and decision-making processes
Assist with supernatant and cell counter testing
Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures and results in compliance under Good Clinical Laboratory Practices (GCLP)
Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and findings
Present summarized findings and observations to the Clinical Immunology team at the conclusion of the internship
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Pre-Health
Must be at least a Sophomore in university at the time of your application
Strong sense of accountability, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and curiosity for science
Excellent organizational and communication skills and attention to detail
Flexible and willing to support a variety of tasks for the Clinical Immunology team
Proactive and solution-driven mindset

Available to work full-time at the office during the summer months (May-August) at an AskBio office
Preferred
Prior internship, work, or volunteer/extracurricular experience
Prior experience working in a lab environment that involves skills in pipetting and dilutions
