Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase department performance
Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of Sales Managers and Sales Consultants
Lead daily sales operations, including desking deals and monitoring KPIs
Collaborate with the F&I team to ensure a smooth, profitable, and guest-focused process
Maintain exceptional levels of customer satisfaction and guest retention
Resolve guest concerns quickly and appropriately
Ensure compliance with dealership policies and OEM guidelines
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of franchise automotive Sales Manager experience in a high-volume dealership, or prior GSM experience
Must be local — we only consider candidates who live within a reasonable commute to Santa Monica
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
You must have or acquire a valid California Vehicle Salesperson License
18 years or older required
All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen
Preferred
Prior experience in the Los Angeles automotive market and with Hyundai
High-energy, results-driven attitude with strong leadership and coaching skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Proficiency in F&I processes and CDK software
