Architecture & Planning
Responsibilities
Build and maintain a robust network developers, property owners, and government agencies
Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year business development plan to achieve corporate revenue targets
Represent the firm at AIA events, ULI (Urban Land Institute) conferences, and local meetings to stay ahead of upcoming projects
Lead the evaluation of new opportunities to ensure they align with the firm’s design philosophy and profitability goals
Collaborate with the Marketing and Principals to craft compelling narratives for project bids
Lead the "shortlist" interview preparation, ensuring the team communicates a cohesive and winning strategy to the selection committee
Research and enter new geographic or typological markets
Maintain a rigorous CRM of long-lead projects that may not come to fruition for 18– 24 months
Conduct "post-occupancy" check-ins with past clients to secure repeat business and referrals
Qualification
Required
10+ years of business experience
Multi-family housing/industry experience
Working knowledge in Microsoft Office
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent education and experience
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to lead and mentor a team
Ability to work independently
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
Effective time management and logical decision making
