$24/hr - $26/hrP2S is a provider of professional engineering services across various markets and is currently seeking a Mechanical Intern. The intern will assist the engineering team in project execution, contribute to design processes, and engage in testing and quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities
Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects
Conduct research and analysis to contribute to project development
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Contribute to the design process by creating and modifying engineering drawings
Participate in prototyping activities to test and validate design concepts
Assist in conducting tests to ensure the functionality and reliability of engineering solutions
Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and address potential issues
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
Generate reports and summaries to communicate project progress
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals
Participate in team meetings, providing valuable insights and feedback
Engage in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills
Seek opportunities for continuous learning and development within the engineering field
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Mechanical Engineering
Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multiple-engagement environment
Dedication to teamwork
Strong work initiative
Ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
Detail-oriented
Preferred
Training in Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus
FE/EIT is a plus
Trained to utilize CAD/BIM standards
