Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of approximately 10–20 active matters
Investigate claims and develop case strategy from inception through resolution
Analyze and respond to complaints filed in state and federal court
Draft and respond to discovery and manage document production
Conduct legal research using Westlaw
Take and defend depositions
Draft pleadings, motions, and pre-trial filings
Argue motions and attend hearings
Prepare matters for mediation and trial and actively participate in both
Maintain clear, timely, and effective client communication
Qualification
Required
5+ years of labor and employment litigation experience
Active admission to the California Bar
Strong experience across all phases of litigation
Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
Effective oral advocacy and courtroom presence
Ability to manage multiple matters and prioritize deadlines independently
Strong interpersonal skills and client-facing confidence
