Associate Program Director
Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Associate Program Director – Grants & Development to lead grant management, fundraising efforts, and strategic revenue development in support of large-scale social service programs. This position plays a critical leadership role in securing, managing, and sustaining public and private funding while strengthening relationships with faith-based and community partners.

Responsibilities
Lead grant prospecting, proposal development, and submission for public and private funding opportunities
Manage the full grant lifecycle, including pre-award planning, post-award compliance, reporting, monitoring, and renewals
Collaborate with program, finance, and compliance teams to ensure grant alignment with program outcomes, budgets, and funder requirements
Track grant deliverables, timelines, and reporting obligations to ensure timely and accurate submissions
Support diversification of funding through foundations, faith-based partners, individual donors, and special initiatives
Support fundraising initiatives and donor engagement strategies aligned with organizational priorities
Represent Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc. at community meetings, funder briefings, faith-based events, and partner convenings
Build and maintain relationships with Catholic parishes, diocesan offices, and faith-based organizations to support outreach, collaboration, and funding opportunities
Assist in the development of outreach materials, impact narratives, and data-driven stories that support fundraising and grants
Provide program-wide leadership to ensure operational effectiveness, compliance, and fiscal accountability
Supervise and guide assigned staff, fostering a results-driven and mission-aligned culture
Support strategic planning efforts focused on program sustainability and growth
Serve as acting Program Director when needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field required
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in grant management, fundraising, nonprofit administration, or program leadership
Demonstrated success in securing and managing public and private funding
Strong knowledge of grant compliance, reporting, and budget oversight
Excellent written communication skills, particularly in grant writing and funder correspondence
Ability to build and maintain relationships with funders, church leadership, community partners, and internal stakeholders
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Experience working with or alongside faith-based organizations, particularly within Catholic or diocesan settings, strongly preferred
