The Manager of ICU Research will oversee research projects, manage operations, and ensure compliance with ethics and governance requirements within the ICU research department.

Responsibilities
Lead a range of research projects alongside the ICU Deputy Director of Research
Oversee the day to day operations of the department
Have oversight of staff rosters and resourcing
Complete ethics and governance applications or amendments
Maintain budgetary oversight
Contribute to the implementation of research projects and data collection within the ICU
Qualification
Required
Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
Previous experience as a research nurse, with a sound understanding of Ethics, Governance and Regulatory requirements
Current and satisfactory Police Check
Current and satisfactory Working with Children Check
Prior experience in a leadership role
Preferred
Relevant post graduate qualification (e.g. MPH) or significant progress towards this
Certificate in Good Clinical Practice
Clinical experience in an acute care setting (e.g. ICU, ED, or Anaesthesia)
