The intern will assist with updates and changes to website content, ensuring accuracy and consistency while prioritizing customer experience.

Responsibilities
Receive, review, and implement website update requests from corporate teams and state subsidiaries
Update website pages, graphics, documents and links as needed to help ensure information is current and accessible
Coordinate with the Webmaster and other staff to resolve content issues and help ensure consistency with branding guidelines
Assist in testing website changes for functionality
Document updates and maintain a log of completed tasks for accountability and reference
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in or recently completed training, certificate program or degree program in Web Design / Development, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field
Good working knowledge of website content management systems (CMS), HTML & CSS, Adobe Creative Cloud and basic graphic editing tools
Detail oriented to help ensure website content accuracy, consistency and optimal user experience
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently across multiple web update requests and deadlines
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interpret, clarify and confirm update requests
Organizational and administrative skills for tracking updates, documenting changes, and managing digital assets
Proactive in seeking feedback, input, and coordination from Webmaster, Corporate Communication team, functional units and state teams
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality web content
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration within a team environment
Capacity to learn new technologies and adapt to changing digital requirements
Must be able to pass a background check
Preferred
Experience with website content management systems
Exposure to graphic editing software, such as Canva & Adobe Creative Cloud, is an asset
Previous internship or volunteer experience in website management or digital communications is advantageous
