The role involves developing design solutions, preparing construction documents, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality designs.

Responsibilities

Develop landscape architecture designs, including site plans, planting plans, and construction documents

Collaborate with engineers, planners, architects, and other project partners to ensure integrated design solutions

Research and apply zoning codes, environmental regulations, and permitting requirements

Present design concepts and incorporate client and stakeholder feedback

Participate in quality control reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance

Conduct site visits to assess conditions and support construction administration

Support junior staff through guidance, technical review, and mentorship as assigned

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture (Master's preferred)

Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) required

Minimum of 5 years of professional landscape architecture experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of SketchUp, Rhino, or similar tools

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Strong understanding of local codes, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements

Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills

Preferred

Experience working on municipal or public-sector projects strongly preferred
