They are currently recruiting an Associate Compliance Auditor responsible for ensuring compliance with established standard operating procedures by performing audits of member benefits and contributing to process improvements within the organization.

Responsibilities

Perform audits of member accounts to ensure accurate benefits are being disbursed, including pension, refund, deceased, and disability cases
Build strong working relationships with internal departments and employers to gather information and resolve member audit issues with minimal assistance
Ensure all settlement-related records have been reported accurately by employers
Coordinate with the compliance audit team and employers to verify and resolve variances due to discrepancies in data or changes to regulations
Prepare and document manual corrections to member data as needed
Research and review audit processes to create consistent solutions and documentation, providing potential resolutions as needed
Review assigned benefit escalation tickets in a timely and accurate manner
Review and clean up records in assigned data cleanup projects
Assist with identifying areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing standard operating procedures and department processes
Support the compliance audit team in developing, reviewing, and updating standard operating procedures and flowcharts for final approval
Assist with special projects as assigned by management

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a business-related field, required
0–3 years of relevant experience (such as compliance, auditing, accounting, or related analytical work)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong time management skills, including the ability to work on multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently; must be self-motivated
Ability to collaborate as a team member and assist in successfully meeting tasks and deadlines
Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, employers, and other stakeholders
Ability to understand and adhere to the duties, methods, and procedures required by the position
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to the development of solutions
Familiarity with relevant computer applications and standard office software, including a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
