Responsibilities
Machine Service (electrical & mechanical), including the repair and installation of new machines, relocation of existing equipment, customer training, preventative maintenance, ordering parts necessary to perform installations and repair, troubleshooting problems and proactively recommend the necessary service and maintenance programs
Qualification
Required
90% TRAVEL REQUIRED – Candidates must have flexibility to travel extensively throughout the US and Canada
Ideal candidate located within 1 hour from a major international airport
Technical school or college related to Electrical Science, Technology Science, Electrical Engineering, Electro-mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the packaging industry or finishing converting industry working as an Electrician on CI Flexo machines
Background in electrical engineering
Diagnosing faults and make recommendations in customer environment
Technical knowledge (variable frequency drives, motors, basic AC/DC)
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
Strong analysis skills and attention to detail
Independent, responsible work style
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
Fluency with metric system
Preferred
Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 year
