Responsibilities
Build and manage a pipeline of ILO prospects using LinkedIn, MMI, and internal data
Make high volume outbound calls, texts, and messages to Loan Officers
Clearly explain the value of broker and correspondent vs retail
Position our structure: 100 percent commission, flat $750 fee, sharp pricing, and senior processing support
Ask the right questions to understand each LO’s current comp, volume, pain points, and goals
Schedule and run intro calls and move qualified LOs through to commitment and onboarding
Create and refine outreach systems and follow up touch points, not just “make calls”
Track all activity and results in our systems so we can see what is working
In the beginning, travel as needed to industry events and local networking to build the Houston market
As we grow, travel to other markets where it makes sense to recruit and expand
Qualification
Required
Experience recruiting Loan Officers in mortgage, wholesale, or correspondent
Understanding of the difference between broker, correspondent, and retail
Retail experience is a plus if you can translate that into a strong 'leave retail' story for LOs
Comfortable explaining comp and fee structures
Strong phone and people skills
You enjoy high volume outreach and do not hide behind 'research'
You take initiative
Try new strategies
Build simple systems for follow up
Adjust when something is not working
Able to work onsite in Houston, Monday through Friday
