Responsibilities
Cable & Harnessing: Construct complex cables, harnesses, and Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) from schematics, including braiding and tubing
PCB Assembly: Wire prototype PCBs, install/solder components, and perform CCA rework
System Integration: Build and wire rack systems, portable testers, and mechanical chassis
Mechanical Assembly: Build units following Manufacturer Assembly Instructions (MAI)
Schematic Literacy: Interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings for all internal assembly
Production Support: Assist with various mechanical assemblies and ad-hoc tasks in a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience working in electro-mechanical Environment including building prototypes
5+ years of experience working in electro-mechanical Environment including constructing military cables/harnesses for ATE (automated test equipment)
5+ years of experience working in electro-mechanical Environment including reading schematics, wire lists, blueprints, mechanical assembly, fabrication drawings
5+ years of experience working in electro-mechanical Environment including following verbal assembly instructions
5+ years of experience working in electro-mechanical Environment including assembly and wiring of test systems
Utilizing tools such as torque wrenches, solder irons, continuity testers, calipers, pin extraction tools, Wire crimpers, riveting tools…
Soldering skills with thru-hole and SMT components
IPC-A610, IPC/WHMA-A-620
Lifting heavy equipment
Preferred
AS or equivalent experience preferred
