Responsibilities
Partner closely with business stakeholders, customers, and service management teams to understand business needs and priorities
Act as the primary liaison between business users and IT teams
Represent business requirements during intake, prioritization, and delivery discussions
Lead requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, and intake requests
Analyze current-state processes, identify gaps, and define future-state capabilities
Translate business needs into clear, documented ServiceNow and service management requirements
Prepare functional specifications, workflows, and supporting documentation
Support demand intake, incident management, and service request workflows
Work closely with ServiceNow delivery teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements
Apply ITIL best practices to service management processes
Assist with interface and integration problem solving
Participate in or lead delivery lifecycle activities including requirements, design, testing, implementation, and post–go-live support
Facilitate meetings, ceremonies, and working sessions
Provide demos, solution artifacts, and process documentation
Validate solutions meet business and operational needs
Monitor solution and process performance after implementation
Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement
Partner with support teams to prevent service disruption and improve system health
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities, ITIL practices, and service management trends
Contribute to continuous improvement of BA and solution delivery practices
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role in an IT environment
Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform
Working knowledge of ITIL foundations and IT service management
Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills
Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
ServiceNow and/or ITIL certification(s)
Experience with service management, incident management, or request fulfillment
Project management experience (PMP a plus, not required)
Experience supporting multiple departments or enterprise-scale environments
