InternMetropolitan Family Services is a comprehensive human services agency that empowers families to learn, earn, heal, and thrive. They are currently searching for an intern to join their Teen REACH team, which operates during non-school hours to expand positive choices and opportunities for youth while achieving academic success.
Communities
Responsibilities
Plan and lead one or several activities during out-of-school time program
Provide a safe, secure, and engaging environment for youth
Assist in collecting student attendance
Ensure youth sign in/out on a daily basis
Help distribute snacks prior to program start
Assist in maintaining a supply inventory
Attend leadership meetings
Chaperone field trips
Provide feedback to TR Coordinator/Supervisor on participant and activity progress
Work collaboratively with other program staff
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's Program
Ability to work collaboratively with agency staff, parents and community partners
Available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and some weekends
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to follow directions, both verbal and written
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
