The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on buildings and maintenance equipment, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Perform daily maintenance of assigned buildings/grounds
Performs quality repairs and assures adequate maintenance through scheduling and documentation
Prepares all required reports as needed and assures accurate documentation is maintained
Assures compliance with agency safety practices and OSHA standards are maintained
Responds to customer calls, complaints, suggestions and feedback. Assures customer satisfaction
Performs and supervises painting of building interiors
Performs periodic quality control through monitoring and confirmation calls
Performs minor repair of plumbing, lighting and electrical
Performs preventive maintenance procedures and minor service for the HVAC (Filters/belts/cleanings). Monitors the maintenance and repair of machinery and or equipment
Acts as a mandated abuse reporter
May perform other duties as assigned to assure efficiency of program
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED, plus four years of related work experience
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to facilitate systems and checks to assure delivery of quality service and product to internal and external customers
Knowledge of the principles of management, supervision, planning, fiscal management
Knowledge of the principles of repair, maintenance and safety regulations
Ability to observe, evaluate, document verbally and in writing
Knowledge of basic electricity, plumbing, lighting, light carpentry, HVACR, and general maintenance procedures and disciplines
Practices safe work habits at all times and is knowledgeable of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in maintenance work
California Drivers License
Preferred
Possession of a universal CFC certification is a plus
