StoneRidge Senior Living Community is a not-for-profit retirement community known for its quality care and service. They are currently seeking a hospitality-minded full-time Billing Specialist responsible for managing resident billing, insurance verifications, and maintaining financial records.

Responsibilities

Compiles and inputs data into the computer for Resident billing

Performs Insurance verifications as necessary

Compiles and Inputs data into the computer for assigned areas of billing

Follows up on all account receivables to insure aging accounts are collected

Sets up new payor sources as necessary

Runs necessary reports. Maintains backup and support documents

Maintains ledgers and storage binders in an orderly fashion

Posts payments to the receivable

Files paperwork

Assists Accounting Supervisor & Director with accounting duties, as assigned

Qualification

Required

Experience performing Insurance verifications as necessary

Experience maintaining ledgers and storage binders in an orderly fashion

Skill in posting payments to the receivable

Ability to file paperwork
