Responsibilities
Support major design reviews at the vehicle and subsystem-level
Support major Flight Test Milestones and range operations
Lead working groups and collaborate with customer representatives and LM SMEs from various disciplines within NGI
Draft and incorporate updates to program-level requirements and verification plans and submit Specification Change Notices (SCNs) as needed for updates to customer-owned documentation
Perform System Requirement and Verification process definition, maintenance, and execution
Support SEI teams in development of requirements and verification plans for subsystem- and unit-level specifications
Collaborate and develop relationships with geographically dispersed teams composed of various engineering disciplines
Mentor junior engineers in the fundamentals of Systems Engineering and system development
Some travel may be required
Qualification
Required
Experience in a Systems Engineering technical leadership role
Experience in Systems Integration and Interface Definition
Experience with one or more of the following: Requirements Development, Decomposition, and Allocation
Verification Planning, Execution, or Results Reporting
Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Experience with DOORS Database Management
Active or Current Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship Required
Preferred
Bachelor of Science from an ABET-accredited program, or equivalent years of experience and education
Experience with any of the following: Specification Development
Deriving applicable requirements from MIL-STDs
Briefing at Major Design Reviews
Missile System Development
MBSE using Cameo Systems Modeler
System Integration/Interface Management
CONOPS or System Architecture Development
Leading System-level Trade Studies
Working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
Leading cross-functional engineering teams
Developing presentations and briefing senior leadership and customer representatives
