Responsibilities

The QA Inspector will support the design and engineering teams to ensure that products meet all required specifications and standards
Daily activities would include visually inspecting our materials, parts, and products at different stages of production for structural flaws, internal defects, or missing welds and accept, reject, or request rework of defective or malfunctioning units or systems
You'll develop, apply, revise and maintain our quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection

Required

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Quality Assurance Inspector with 2+ years' experience in a Manufacturing Quality environment with the ability to use basic hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges etc.)
Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Effective teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience with MS Office (MS Word and Excel)
Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and drawings
Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance
Experience with finished goods inspection
Basic understanding of material flow in operations
Ability to draft work instructions and SOP's

Preferred

Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
As required by site, knowledge of and ability to use a wide range of higher precision measuring or Non-Destructive Evaluation equipment
Experience with Costpoint and/or AEGIS-MES
