Responsibilities
Maintaining a clean and organized work area and equipment, following all prescribed safety and quality standards
Documenting cleaning and sanitizing activities in accordance with established procedures
Performing solids and pH testing to ensure product quality
Recording flavor information on batch sheets provided by R&D
Following approved work instructions provided by Quality Technicians
Verifying accuracy of printing on gable tops and boxes, obtaining Quality approval as required, and maintaining print quality
Ensuring correct product and package labeling in compliance with specifications
Monitoring the supply of packaging materials to prevent production delays
Performing cleaning and sanitizing functions for all circuits, pipes, tanks, valves, and related equipment
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and good mechanical aptitude, having familiarity with basic machine functions
Ability to use powered industrial equipment (walkie stacker, pallet jacks)
Read and write, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Comprehend basic math and simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Understand and carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form
Willingness to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regards to daily duties and responsibilities
Operate a computer to enter and retrieve data
Prepare and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees within the organization

1+ years of manufacturing or production experience is preferred
