Responsibilities
Monitor and interpret telecommunications regulations, tariffs, and reporting requirements from agencies such as the FCC, state public utility commissions, and other governing bodies
Ensure timely and accurate submission and payment of regulatory filings, reports, and certifications
Maintain documentation and records to support filings and audits
Analyze regulatory changes and assess their impact on the Company’s business operations
Support internal audits and respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities
Collaborate with the Legal team to address regulatory risks and implement corrective actions
Identify opportunities to streamline regulatory reporting processes
Support implementation of systems and tools for automated compliance tracking
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law, Paralegal or related field
Two (2) - four (4) years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in telecommunications or a related industry
Strong understanding of telecommunications regulations and reporting requirements
Excellent analytical and research skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience with FCC and state-level telecommunications filings
Proficiency with data analytics tools (Excel, Access, Alteryx)
Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion is a plus) and tax software (Avalara is a plus)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
