Valles Caldera Heritage Intern - ONSITE - Valles Caldera National Preserve
Environment for the Americas is seeking a Valles Caldera Heritage Intern to engage young professionals in natural resource careers. The intern will be responsible for scheduling and interviewing local community members of Hispanic heritage, processing recordings, and developing Cultural Atlas content based on the interviews.

Responsibilities
Work closely with the park’s Visual Information Specialist and conduct independent work
Talk to people from different cultural backgrounds, schedule interviews, set up recording equipment, and process recordings
Produce Cultural Atlas content, write out transcripts, edit video and audio files, and work with the team to incorporate into the exhibit
Qualification
Required
Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
Be between the ages of 18 - 30 years or up to 35 years if a veteran
Be willing to undergo a background check upon hiring
Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
Spanish fluency
Loves talking with people to learn about their history
Follow directions well
Is a solid team member
