Director of Strategy & Business Development
Hamilton Health Box is a healthcare delivery company focused on operating primary care clinics in various markets. The Director of Strategy & Business Development is responsible for the origination, structuring, and execution of growth initiatives, particularly in employer-based clinic development and strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end development of employer-sponsored clinic opportunities, including market targeting, prospecting, solution design (on-site, near-site, hybrid), pricing, contracting, and launch readiness
Design and negotiate employer clinic economics (PEPM, hybrid reimbursement, bundled services, shared savings where appropriate) in partnership with Finance and Operations
Build and manage a repeatable, scalable employer BD pipeline from first contact through clinic go-live
Serve as executive-level point of contact for employer partners throughout the deal and launch lifecycle
Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic growth opportunities with employers, hospitals, health systems, payers, and public-sector entities
Lead deal strategy, negotiations, and contract execution, including LOIs and definitive agreements
Assess new markets using demand, regulatory, operational, and financial analysis to inform expansion decisions
Develop financial models, investment cases, and ROI analyses for new clinics and partnerships
Partner closely with Operations, Clinical, Legal, and Technology teams to move opportunities from concept to execution without loss of deal integrity
Inform company-level strategy by translating market signals and partner feedback into actionable insights
Represent HHB with credibility in employer, healthcare, and public-sector environments
Track employer health trends, value-based care models, rural health policy, and competitive dynamics to shape strategy and positioning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
4+ years of experience in strategy, management consulting, business development, healthcare services, employer health, or value-based care environments
Demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder deals from origination through execution
Strong financial modeling, pricing, and contract structuring skills
Proven ability to operate independently with executive-level judgment in ambiguous environments
Experience working across clinical, operational, and financial teams to launch real-world programs
Preferred
Healthcare delivery, employer-sponsored health, health insurance, or services-platform experience preferred
