Bilingual Customer Service Representative-Mandarin/Cantonese
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese. The role involves providing customer service and support to seniors in the community, assisting them with healthcare-related resources and events.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service at assigned community center(s)
Offer in‑language support to members regarding their benefits and accessing care
Assist community members by providing guidance on Medicare options in their preferred language
Coordinate and schedule health and wellness events, including logistics and planning
Communicate facility needs and repair requests to the appropriate internal department
Maintain inventory of equipment, supplies, and promotional materials
Monitor visitor traffic and service utilization
Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and meets quality standards
Manage room usage for classes, training, and activities while maintaining a safe and clean environment
Work with internal teams to develop programs and activities that bring value to the center
Participate in community and member events, including staffing informational booths and attending cultural, holiday, or local gatherings
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience required
Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse and multilingual communities
Active California Life and Health Insurance License, or ability to obtain within two months of hire
Bilingual proficiency (speaking, reading, writing) in Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean
Strong customer service skills; experience serving seniors is a plus
Ability to present to both small and large groups
Commitment to helping seniors access and understand their healthcare options
Highly detail‑oriented with strong event planning and organizational skills
Dependable, present, and professional
Preferred
One (1) year of marketing experience preferred
Experience in healthcare, nonprofit environments, or senior‑focused settings preferred
Event planning or coordination experience is a plus
