Responsibilities
Organizing research for field
Reducing filed observations
Preparing data for drafting
Assisting the RPLS by preparing Survey Reports
Preparing COGO calculations
Assisting the RPLS with the Boundary Analysis
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree or a Certificate in Land Surveying
Understanding of Computer Technology (tablets, iPads, etc.) required
Must have a valid Texas Driver's License
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time
Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written, delivered verbally, or conveyed from various methods of communication
Must be flexible, dependable, responsible and disciplined to be a positive representative for Halff and remain punctual on a consistent basis
Overtime and weekend work may be needed to meet project deadlines
Ability to pass a drug and background screen
Excellent physical condition to perform field work, outdoors, in various conditions including extreme heat, cold and wind
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Must be able to travel to various project sites
Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas
Preferred
SIT certification is preferred, or on the path to getting certified
Practical experience in producing survey maps and plats
Software skills: Civil 3D and Open Roads (ORD)
Software skills: Trimble Business Center (TBC)
Software skills: Microsoft tools, i.e., Excel, Teams, etc
