They are seeking an experienced Freelance Fashion Designer with a strong background in activewear and gym apparel to design gym and performance apparel from concept through production.

Responsibilities
Design gym and performance apparel from concept through production
Utilize expertise of seamless and engineered knits for innovation
Ensure designs meet technical standards for fit, compression, durability and movement
Select and specify performance fabrics suited for training and high-intensity use
Create detailed, production-ready tech packs
Incorporate gym apparel trends and innovations (engineered knits, seamless, bonding, ventilation, etc.)
Collaborate with product development team, technical design and overseas factories
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in activewear / gym apparel design
Strong technical knowledge of fit, construction, and fabric performance
Strong understanding of gym-specific apparel needs and training use cases
Experience working with U.S. brands
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience with strength training and performance fitness categories
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs
Bachelor's Degree
