Responsibilities
Operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system, including pH adjustment, neutralization, metal precipitation, and flocculation
Manage chemical feed systems, transfer pumps, filter press, reaction and holding tanks, and associated piping
Conduct routine sampling, testing, and documentation of pH, metals, and TSS; adjust chemical dosing as needed
Maintain accurate logs of flows, chemical usage, and system performance
Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on treatment equipment
Safely handle treatment chemicals, following PPE protocols and safety procedures
Coordinate with production staff to manage wastewater flow and system loading
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations
Qualification
Required

Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently and collaboratively
Preferred
Previous experience operating industrial wastewater or chemical treatment systems preferred
Technical training or certification in wastewater treatment a plus
