Network Administrator
Maximus is a company supporting a contract for a Federal research and health agency. The Network Administrator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of network or telecommunications components to drive network efficiency and availability.

Responsibilities
Maintain network quality standards to achieve optimal levels of operation and service level agreement (SLA)/KPI targets
Tracks and monitors network traffic and performance to ensure minimal interruption to network transmission and/or network switches
Corrects network problems effectively and in a timely manner
Integrates initiatives, industrialization, and efficiencies to network facilities for improvements (i.e., enhancements, updates, upgrades, and new systems)
Continuously revises procedures and uses tools to monitor network performance
Qualification
Required
Experience with Cisco network infrastructure devices, specifically Cisco Catalyst 9200-series, 9400-series, NXOS 9k, FEX, and Firepower appliances 4k and 1k series
Experience with automation and software defined network (SDN) capabilities
Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and MAC-based solutions
Experience with Monitoring tools such as Cisco Catalyst Center and Solarwinds, Stealthwatch
Public Trust clearance
University degree (BA/BS) in a closely related field (Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology)
Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience as a network engineer, administrator, or telecommunications engineer
Preferred
Familiarity with automation and scripting languages such as Python or Ansible
CCNA certification or higher – provide credential number and expiration date
Familiarity with Cisco Telemetry broker, Stealthwatch, and ACI are an added strength
