They are seeking an experienced technical leader to drive AI-focused game technology research and development as a Technical Director, responsible for building and managing a team of engineers focused on AI systems and gameplay intelligence.

Responsibilities
Provide senior technical leadership in the architecture, design, and delivery of AI-driven game technologies
Partner with game, engine, and creative leadership to define and execute a multi-title AI technology roadmap
Lead exploration of AI applications for games, including NPC behavior, player modeling, procedural systems, generative content, and intelligent tooling
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers
Qualification
Required
Proven technical leadership with the ability to architect systems and execution plans for complex, multi-team technology initiatives
Deep understanding of the game development lifecycle
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience guiding R&D efforts while maintaining a clear path to production-ready solutions
Shipped multiple titles using Unreal Engine in a senior or lead technical role
Several years of experience building, leading, and mentoring engineering teams
Hands-on experience developing new game technologies, including AI systems, gameplay frameworks, or developer tools
Preferred
Background in applied AI/ML for games or interactive systems is strongly preferred
