Urban Planning/Urban Design Intern
Kimley-Horn is looking for Planning and Design students to join their Atlanta Midtown, Georgia office! The role involves contributing to community planning, urban design, and land use analysis while collaborating across disciplines to assist project managers and produce clients’ visions for the future built environment.

Responsibilities
Contribute to community planning, urban design, land use analysis, and community engagement
Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment
Develop familiarity with planning best practices and regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and our client's practices, procedures, and standards
Prepare planning, design, and land use studies
Coordinate with various municipal and state agencies
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
In the process of receiving a Urban Design or Planning Degree (Bachelors or Masters) from an accredited program in Urban Design, City and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, or Other Related Major (includes Landscape Architecture)
Working knowledge of graphic software programs (Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Modeling, GIS/Arcview, and/or AutoCAD), Powerpoint, and Excel
