Responsibilities

Focus on profitable unit & anchor program competitive gain, where KAR not assigned
Build Ecolab's brand by cold-calling and prospecting new street and non-contract business to generate sales within a specific geographic area
Meet or exceed sales budget on a consistent basis
Apply consultative selling techniques by evaluating standard operating procedures and identifying operational efficiencies
Cultivate customer and industry relationships to build sales pipeline
Leverage market knowledge to identify competitive sales opportunities to gain new business and facilitate cross-divisional sales opportunities
Support distributor brand sales opportunities in some cases

Required

Candidate must reside within a commutable distance from San Diego, CA
Secondary diploma or equivalent certificate
2 years of sales experience OR completion of the Institutional inside sales development program
Position requires a current and valid driver's license
No Immigration Sponsorship available
Drive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle)

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree
Previous business to business commercial sales
Industry related experience in food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality and/or pool and spa
Proven negotiation, relationship management, communication, and presentation skills
Sales specific education or certifications
