Responsibilities
Execute the technical design process from development to final fit
Analyze and evaluate garments to establish correct fit specifications
Develop technical specifications and communicate fit approvals and corrections to vendors and factories
Lead or own fit sessions and document detailed fit comments and pattern corrections
Partner with factories to ensure integrity of approved prototypes while monitoring quality and target costing
Ensure products meet established fit comfort quality and cost standards
Collaborate closely with design and cross functional partners to support product execution
Typically report to the Technical Services Manager
Provide guidance to Assistant or Associate Technical Designers as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical design within intimate apparel
Experience specializing in bras panties lingerie or intimate apparel
Strong experience owning or participating in fit sessions
Ability to write detailed fit comments and pattern corrections
Experience developing and maintaining technical specifications and tech packs
Experience communicating fit and construction feedback to vendors and factories
Strong knowledge of garment construction fit standards and quality requirements
Experience working with Centric PLM
Proficiency with Excel Illustrator and Flex PLM
Strong problem solving and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and onsite environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Fashion or equivalent experience
