Pressure Test Operator I (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities

Performs visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products
Inspect and test components, parts, tube details, and assemblies to validate conformance to blue prints and instructions by customer and to company operating
Determines appropriate fittings (feeds and caps) to perform the test
Lifts, positions, connects, disconnects, and removes work pieces from pressure test tank
Performs testing based on specific PSI and time limits as outlined by our customers to ensure quality standards
Utilize tank interlocks and all safety mechanisms
Observe test, inspect for bubble formation, seepage, or water droplets
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus
Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
Other duties may be assigned as needed

Verifies and maintains accuracy of routers and other applicable documents for completeness
Be safety-minded and follow all company policies, safety policies & procedures, and practice safe work habits. Such as, but not limited to; use of proper PPE, safe lifting techniques, and building security
Attend all meetings and trainings as scheduled

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, assemblies, tube details, components and finished products
