PrideStaff is seeking a highly skilled QuickBooks Online Accountant. The ideal candidate will manage and maintain client accounts, prepare and analyze financial statements, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while utilizing QuickBooks Online software.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain client accounts using QuickBooks Online
Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy
Conduct accounts payable and receivable processing, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, LIHTC guidelines, and other regulatory standards
Support regulatory reporting requirements and assist with auditing processes
Develop detailed financial reports for management review and client consultations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of securities law, governmental accounting standards, nonprofit accounting practices, and corporate finance principles

Required

Must be highly proficient in QuickBooks Online
Strong technical accounting expertise
Ability to interpret complex financial data
Manage and maintain client accounts using QuickBooks Online
Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy
Conduct accounts payable and receivable processing, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, LIHTC guidelines, and other regulatory standards
Support regulatory reporting requirements and assist with auditing processes
Develop detailed financial reports for management review and client consultations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of securities law, governmental accounting standards, nonprofit accounting practices, and corporate finance principles
Proven experience in corporate accounting, public accounting or non-profit accounting environments
Extensive knowledge of and be highly proficient in QuickBooks Online
Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, regulatory reporting, and financial concepts such as debits & credits and journal entries
Experience with financial statement preparation, financial report writing & interpretation, bank reconciliation, account analysis & reconciliation
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform cash flow analysis and financial management tasks effectively

Preferred

Familiarity with SOX compliance standards and LIHTC regulations is a plus
