Responsibilities
Receives, logs, organizes, and distributes all deliveries to their proper departments, storage areas, or resident destinations
Maintains orderly and clearly labeled storage, receiving, and supply areas
Coordinates with vendors, delivery drivers, and internal departments to ensure accurate drop-off and timely pick-up
Assists with supply stocking, inventory rotation, and identifying low-stock or overstock conditions
Responds to requests for task assistance across the campus—item pick-up and drop-off, room setups, small projects, and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Moves boxes, equipment, and furniture safely and efficiently
Supports routine facility tasks such as waste removal, recycling, light groundskeeping, and simple preventive maintenance when assigned
Completes work orders related to receiving, delivery needs, or minor facility tasks
Communicates professionally with residents, staff, and vendors—providing information, directions, or solutions as needed
Prioritizes workload according to direction from supervisor and responds promptly to time-sensitive needs
Responds to special events and peak-demand periods with flexibility, adjusting schedule and tasks to ensure seamless community operations
Performs other duties as assigned
Maintains all tools, carts, equipment, and supply areas in proper, safe working condition
Recommends process improvements for efficiency in receiving, routing, or supply management
Uses time efficiently to complete a high volume of routine and unscheduled tasks
Participates in orientation and development of new team members assigned to receiving or related duties
Maintains required skills and competencies, attending training and in-service sessions as assigned
Reports accidents, incidents, damages, or unsafe/hazardous conditions immediately; follows all safety regulations
Maintains confidentiality of resident and business information, following HIPAA and corporate compliance standards
Uses proper body mechanics and personal protective equipment at all times
Demonstrates exceptional customer service and supports the community’s continuous improvement philosophy
Demonstrates adherence to Infection Control policies in all aspects of performance
Uses equipment, supplies, and services in a cost-effective manner
Supports quality assurance and process improvement initiatives
Demonstrates a positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to help all departments
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Comfort using basic computer systems for logging deliveries and communication
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistent workflow
Extremely positive with customer-service oriented mindset that includes problem-solving abilities
Must be able to work inside and outdoors as needed, exposed to weather elements for up to three hours at a time
Must be able to stand and walk for up to 90% of the workday
Moderate to heavy physical effort: lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 80 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently
