The Industrial Waste Lab Assistant will support laboratory operations by preparing and analyzing samples, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze samples according to established protocols and procedures
Calculate and report analytical results accurately and in a timely manner
Participate in general lab housekeeping, including sample sorting and disposal
Clean glassware to meet appropriate analytical cleanliness standards
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas used during the workday
Adhere to the Waste Analysis Plan and Chemical Hygiene Plan
Communicate technical information effectively both orally and in writing
Background in instrumentation with proficiency in GC, ICP, and Calorimeter
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must have a high school diploma or equivalency
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently
High attention to detail and accuracy in work
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or similar software
Background in instrumentation with proficiency in GC, ICP, and Calorimeter
Preferred
Previous relevant laboratory experience desired, but not required
Knowledge of the waste industry is preferred
