Project Manager II

Responsibilities
Responsible for planning the project(s) in order to accomplish its goals or produce the products required within constraints such as time, budget and scope
Continuously monitors the progress in terms of the status of the plan and reports back to the organization via weekly or other progress reporting by organizing and managing status meetings
In transition projects will oversee all transition related activities including monitoring of transition schedules, planning, and coordination of transition status meetings and preparation of transition reports
Identifies logs, analyzes and manages potential and actual issues and risks; takes corrective action and reviews how issues and risks may impact scope, schedule, quality and cost
Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
Reviews deliverables prepared by team prior to communicating with client
Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standard
Articulates and negotiates consensus on a final vision of the product and/or the core project goals
Capable of defining acceptance criteria or working with specialists to define acceptance criteria for project deliverables
May manage and coordinate third party contractors
Responsible for bringing the project to a close, which may include creating an end of project report or evaluation document, holding deployment meetings and activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
PMP Certification is required
Minimum 5 years of experience in a project management office (PMO) environment
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams
Proven ability to interact directly with clients and manage geographically dispersed teams
Willingness and ability to travel

Preferred
2+ years of experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry desired
