Responsibilities
Provide consultant input to our community team to cover Mid Ross (Dingwall, Strathpeffer) and Easter Ross (Alness, Invergordon, Tain), for both primary and organic mental disorders
Participate in the Consultant on call rota (1:15)
Develop the job plan flexibly, with opportunities for special interests in keeping with the needs of the service, whether in community, inpatient, liaison or young onset dementia services
Participate in CPD and peer supervision
Meet regularly with consultant peer groups
Attend regular educational events organised as part of our in-house programme
Qualification
Required
Permanent Older Adult Psychiatry Consultant
Experience in older adult mental health services
Ability to provide consultant input to community teams
Experience with primary and organic mental disorders
Participation in Consultant on call rota (1:15)
Flexibility in job plan development
Opportunities for special interests in community, inpatient, liaison or young onset dementia services
Participation in CPD and peer supervision
Ability to work within a cohesive and collegiate group of clinicians
