Responsibilities
Architect, engineer, and operationalize automated data pipelines from cloud data lakes and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks Lakehouse, Redshift, Synapse) into Salesforce Data Cloud
Modernize legacy Alteryx workflows into scalable cloud-native pipelines
Configure Data Streams, Data Model Objects (DMOs), identity resolution logic, and data harmonization processes
Set up, configure, and optimize cloud data lakes and warehouses as upstream sources feeding Salesforce Data Cloud
Define ingestion paths, schema structures, metadata layers, storage hierarchy, partitioning, versioning, and lifecycle management
Manage data ingestion, mapping, harmonization, and activation within Salesforce Data Cloud for segmentation, journeys, analytics, and real-time personalization
Build unified profiles, calculated insights, and relationship mappings for Marketing Cloud and CRM activation
Configure and maintain real-time event triggers and activation workflows
Establish enterprise data standards, ensuring consistent field naming, types, domain rules, and reference data alignment
Integrate address standardization tools (USPS CASS, Loqate, Melissa, Smarty, or similar) into pipelines for validated and standardized addresses
Implement cleansing routines, validation logic, and transformation rules to ensure accurate, compliant data
Validate, deduplicate, and maintain healthcare provider identifiers such as NPIs, taxonomy codes, facility identifiers, and organizational provider numbers
Harmonize provider and facility data across upstream warehouses, Data Cloud DMOs, and Marketing Cloud
Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure regulated data handling meets privacy and accuracy standards
Partner with CRM, Marketing Operations, Data Engineering, Compliance, and Analytics teams to translate business needs into technical pipeline designs
Serve as the technical SME for Data Cloud ingestion, modeling, identity resolution, and activation best practices
Provide architecture documentation, data flow diagrams, and long-term maintainability artifacts
Qualification
Required
6+ years in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, or data integration roles
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (ingestion, mapping, unification, activation)
Experience building pipelines from cloud data lakes and warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse)
Proven experience migrating legacy ETL workflows from Alteryx to cloud-native architectures
Expertise in data standardization, address validation, and data quality frameworks
Experience managing healthcare provider identifiers or other regulated datasets
Exposure to Marketing Cloud data structures and activation models
