Responsibilities

Manage an accurate and timely domestic accounting close including preparation and review of accruals and account reconciliation
Responsible for the preparation of Sales and Use taxes, as well as Tangible and Intangible tax return
Responsible to maintain fixed asset
Responsible for leading accounts payable operation
Responsible for overseeing corporate and sales tax
Responsible for directing and coordinating the work of a number of accounting associates in all aspects of accounting
Prepare monthly financial and various detailed analyses
Assist with SEC reporting and financial statement preparation
Provide technical accounting research and accounting implementation guidance
Drive continuous improvement of internal policies, processes and controls
Improve and develop internal financial reports
Work closely with public accountants during quarterly reviews and annual audits
Work on ad hoc projects for Director of Finance
Will be responsible for various special projects as assigned

Required

BA/BS Degree in Accounting
At least 5 years of experience managing an accounting department
Proven supervisory experience
Superior experience with Microsoft Office
Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the US without sponsorship
