Responsibilities
Support development and maintenance of models and processes to assess internal bids placement in the market and actuals against expectations
Support development of Aetna’s Medicare Part D bids and forecasts while effectively communicating results
Partner with non-actuarial business partners to align on modeling assumptions and recommendations
Effectively balance and manage competing priorities
Act as a subject matter expert on assigned projects and concepts
Leverage technical skills and critical thinking to design and achieve business solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree along with 1 year related experience
2 SOA exams passed
Prior healthcare experience required
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Experience with GCP, SAS, SQL, R, Python a plus, working with large and detailed data sets is required
Strong communication skills
Solid technical/analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a constantly evolving environment with competing priorities and deadlines
Preferred
Prior Pharmacy, Part D, or Medicare Advantage experience
