Responsibilities
Design of the latest combustion hardware contributing to the decarbonization goals of Siemens Energy
Development of the latest combustion system utilizing the latest manufacturing techniques both conventional and additive
Communicate and work effectively with manufacturing and service engineering colleagues on process improvements and new product development and introduction
Qualification
Required
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required
Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals in machine design
Ability to create complex drawings and specifications, including a solid understanding of GD&T
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Current SE employees with existing visa sponsorship may be eligible for visa transfer
Preferred
MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience in design of mechanical components
Good presentation and collaboration skills
Experience with Siemens NX CAD, ANSYS, Teamcenter & SAP
