Responsibilities
Direct and manage multiple solar and battery energy projects at different stages (new builds, upgrades, expansions)
Coordinate between internal engineering teams, field leadership, and external stakeholders
Supervise site leadership including superintendents and foremen
Maintain regular communication with clients, developers, general contractors, and local authorities
Control project cost tracking, timelines, RFIs, change orders, and documentation
Ensure adherence to NEC, utility interconnection rules, and quality protocols
Provide weekly project reports to executives and clients
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of project management experience in commercial or industrial construction
5+ years of experience in the electrical field, preferably within electrical contracting
5+ years of hands-on experience in solar energy projects
Experience working with high-voltage systems and utility interconnects
2–5 years of field experience supporting construction or electrical projects
Strong working knowledge of project management tools such as Procore, MS Project (or similar), and intermediate to advanced Excel
Proven leadership, decision-making, and team coordination skills
Ability to be based in Houston and travel to project sites as required
Preferred
1–5 years of site superintendent / site supervision experience
1–5 years of experience with large-scale battery installation projects
Journeyman Electrical License (preferred, not required)
Experience managing utility-scale or complex renewable energy projects
Exposure to cross-functional coordination with utilities, inspectors, and EPC partners
