Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger activity
Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations
Consolidate financial results across multiple entities
Support month-end close and ensure timely, accurate reporting
Assist with completion of the annual audit and work directly with external auditors
Ensure financial data flows accurately through ERP and reporting systems
Review financial data for accuracy and completeness prior to reporting
Support process improvements related to close, consolidation, and reporting
Perform other accounting duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidations
Prior experience supporting external audits and working with auditors
Highly systems-savvy with the ability to learn and navigate complex financial systems
Ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
ERP experience required; Epicor 21 (P21) strongly preferred
CPA a plus, but not required
Distribution or multi-entity experience a plus
