V2 Infra Tech is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in CKEditor to design, modernize, and advise on enterprise content authoring solutions. The role involves developing custom plugins, leading upgrades, and ensuring accessibility and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Design, customize, and extend CKEditor 4 & 5 for complex UX and business needs
Develop custom plugins, toolbars, widgets, commands, and editor builds
Lead end-to-end upgrades, including migration from CKEditor 4.3.1 to CKEditor 5
Maintain and configure CKEditor versions securely and efficiently
Integrate CKEditor with React, Angular, or Vue applications
Ensure WCAG accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
Collaborate with backend teams on REST/GraphQL APIs, secure content handling, and autosave/versioning
Optimize performance for large documents and high-traffic environments
Act as a technical advisor, evaluating CKEditor vs open-source alternatives to control licensing costs while meeting functional goals
Write clean, testable code; participate in sprint planning, reviews, and delivery
Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture decisions

Required

10+ years frontend engineering experience
8+ years JavaScript / TypeScript
5+ years hands-on CKEditor (v4/v5)

Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, DOM, browser APIs
Experience with React, Angular, or Vue
Knowledge of web security (XSS, sanitization)
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum

WCAG / ARIA accessibility
CMS/DAM integrations
